Welcome to the “Home of the Bobcats.”  Northern Adirondack High School is a small rural school in the beautiful northern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. We serve approximately 250 students in grades 9-12, in a success oriented, student-centered atmosphere.

At Northern Adirondack High School (NAC) our goal is to provide all of our students with opportunities to be successful in high school and to be prepared to successfully engage post graduation opportunities. We currently offer many College Advanced Placement courses. Students have many opportunities to participate in activities, clubs and sports at NAC.

At Northern Adirondack, our mission is to prepare students to be college and career ready through the teaching and learning of 21st century skills. We strive to ensure that NAC is a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for learning and working.

At NAC, breakfast and lunches are free for all of our students.

Parking for students: parking is a senior privilege, we have a limited number of parking spaces and seniors that wish to drive to school must submit the application to the high school principal at the start of the school year.  Applications are available in the high school office.

There are late buses (4:30) for students participating in a club, activity or sports.
