Testing is computer based this year so students will need their Chromebooks in school. Should you choose to have your child be marked as a refusal for the exam, a note will need to be brought to the main office no later than 10 am this Friday, May 10th. Phone calls and emails will not be accepted. Previous notes for ELA and Math do not count for Science. Thank you for your cooperation.

It is always helpful if your child can get a good nights sleep before these exams. Please remember these exams are not timed, nor do they count for or against your child's average. These exams are merely a tool to assess where our students, as a whole, compare to their cohorts across the state. This year the exams will be computer based. If you are refusing to have your child take this exam, a refusal letter, signed by the parent, must be brought to the Middle School main office no later than 10am on Friday April, 19th. Due to the work to properly prepare for these exams, refusal letters after this date or those sent by email or phoned in, will not be honored. Absences do not constitute a refusal and will need to be made up as the State has now mandated a full month absence window for these exams. Please remember, a refusal letter for ELA does not cover Math or Science. A separate letter will be needed for each exam. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

It's Builders Club Week! We are collecting items to make care packages for the FitzPatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh. Please drop items off in the bin in the main lobby of the MS/HS by March 27th.

Attention current 8th grade parents: We are looking for pictures of your 8th grader for our slide show presented at the 8th grade move-up ceremony. The pictures should be from middle school years only and can be of your child alone or with 8th grade classmates. The deadline to send in slideshow photos is April 26th. Good afternoon Bobcat sports families: JV Boys Baseball practice will begin on Monday March 18th at 4:30 pm with coach Kris Chase. Modified Girls Softball practice will begin on Tuesday March 19th at 4:30 pm with coach Stacy Siskavich. Students should report to athletic studyhall right after school.

Summer Soccer Camp will be held July 8 - July 12 at NAC High School. Participants will not only experience a week of incredible instruction but will walk away with a camp t-shirt and soccer ball. Our goal is to give every player a safe, fun, healthy learning experience no matter the player's previous experience and /or knowledge with soccer.
