Stop that "summer slide" and help fight learning loss by encouraging the kids in your life to keep reading during summer vacation! One of the best ways is to visit your local libraries. The NAC Elementary School Library will be open Wednesday mornings in July, 8:00am - 12noon, for book checkout, or just lounging about reading in the beanbag chairs or challenging friends to a board game. The public libraries in our communities also have summer hours and many have summer reading programs for younger children. For libraries-without-walls, check out the digital audiobooks and e-books in Sora or Libby which are free to use with a library card!
